Leicester City fan from Northamptonshire set to win £22,500 from £7.50 bet at start of the season
John Sharman, aged 55, of Wedgwood Close, always puts a bet on his beloved team to win whatever league they are competing in.
Despite the fact the Foxes only just avoided relegation last season, Mr Sharman still decided to put a £7.50 each way bet on them to win the Premier League in 2015/16.

The self-employed carpet fitter, who has supported Leicester since he was a teenager, said he was not tempted to cash out his bet early, as other Leicester City fans have already done.
He said: “Every season I bet on them to win the league and I used the £7.50 I had in my account.
“I had my fingers crossed around Christmas time but now I think we will do it.

Mr Sharman, who is not as a season ticket holder as he works some weekends, said the only downside of their success was that he was finding it hard to get tickets to the games.
He said: “I’ve been to a few games at the King Power stadium but this season the tickets sell out very quickly.
“May be I can use the money to travel away to one of the Champions League matches next season.”
