TT Rock Stars offers a tried and trusted approach for boosting children’s fluency and recall in multiplication and division and removes any anxiety from learning times tables.
Dressed as rock stars - with the head gear, guitars and cool hand signs to match - the children and staff threw themselves into a Rock Stars launch event last week. After a special assembly, MC’d by Maths Lead Mrs Williams, pupils in years 1 to 6 accessed the Rock Stars platform, using a bank of laptops generously purchased this year by parents of the Naseby School Association, and enjoyed working through a scaled series of questions to cement their times tables learning. Now, fun online challenges will be completed each week, with the children’s scores being celebrated in ‘Rock Stars Awards’ in school assembly.

Rock Stars is a fantastic way to remove that fear and make learning times tables fun, memorable and successful. Rock Stars has exploded onto the stage at Naseby and I am excited to see how far up the times tables charts our pupils can go!”
