County Highways crew giving Sue a hand help save the skins of Northampton hospital staff

Northants Highways are getting behind one of their crew literally helping save the skin of NHS workers who are saving lives in hospital.
Sue Dean saw a plea for help from frontline staff suffering from the effects of constant washing and wearing sterile gloves to keep themselves and their patients safe.

Hide AdSo Sue, who is also a representative for The Body Shop, began drumming up support via her Facebook page and has already sent off more than 100 tubes of hand cream to ease dry, cracked and sore hands.
Each tube is marked with the name of the whoever kindly paid to donate it.
You can join Sue's campaign HEREOne of Sue's colleague's at KierWSP Northamptonshire Highways, where she works as a front desk administrator helping to look after around 2,700 miles of county roads, said: "All people have to do is donate £4 via Sue’s PayPal account and she will take care of the rest.
"Sue orders the hand cream, labels it with your name and send with a letter of thanks to our frontline heroes.

Hide Ad"It started after Sue saw a Facebook post from a local nurse saying that hands at the hospital were getting sore and supplies were scarce.
"She was asking for donations of unopened hand creams. But Sue pounced on the idea of asking for small donations of money to buy the products as she was a representative.
"The response has been amazing. She's a representative for The Body Shop but she puts all her own commission back into buying more creams.
"All people need to do is donate £4 to Sue's PayPal account. She orders the hand cream, labels it with your name and sends it off with a letter of thanks to our frontline heroes."
