Did you see a man riding his bike in Boothville?

Police want to find a cyclist spotted in the area when a thief stole cash from a motor vehicle in the Boothville area of Northampton.

Officers were alerted after the thief smashed the driver's side window on a red Citroen parked on a driveway in Churchill Avenue sometime between 3pm on Saturday, February 1 and 9.15am on Sunday, February 2.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "We would like to speak to a man who was seen riding a bike in the area at the time of the incident.

"He was wearing a baseball cap which had an emblem on it, light-coloured coat with a hood, dark trousers and trainers with light-coloured laces and white soles.

"We would ask anyone with information or who may have seen this incident to call us on 101 quoting reference number 20000062050."
