Two men arrested over daytime fight outside pub in Northampton town centre

Two men have been arrested following a broad daylight fight outside a pub in Northampton town centre.

Northamptonshire Police said the brawl was outside a pub in Regent Square on Saturday (August 6) between 6pm and 7.30pm.

A police spokeswoman said: “Two men aged 55 and 37 were arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail pending further enquiries.

“No-one received any life-threatening injuries but two men were taken to hospital.”
