This year there has been a phenomenal movement of men and women who have gone above and beyond their call of duty for their town, their families and communities.
Northampton' s oldest milkman celebrated 70 years on his rounds, Harry Dunn's parents continued their fight for justice after 12 months of making international headlines, school children in the town and across the UK all reunited after six months of being home schooled and Northampton's longest-married couple celebrated 76 years of marriage.

1. January 2, 2020
Tony Moulds, who started his milk round on January 2, 1950, celebrated 70 years of delivering milk in Holcot and was celebrated for being Northampton's longest-serving milkman.
2. February 26, 2020
Community learning disabilities nurse Rebecca Gill (centre) brought the world-first virtual 'swimming with dolphins' experience to Northampton for children with disabilities and won an animal rights award from charity PETA.
3. March 5, 2020 (pre-Covid)
480 children from Kingsthorpe Grove Primary School put their usual blue uniforms to one side for the day so they could put on their favourite costumes and mimic characters from Lewis Carol's Alice in Wonderland for World Book Day.
4. April 26, 2020
During the first national lockdown the Northampton Rotary Club members forfeited money they would usually spend on their Monday lunch meetings and spent their £2,000 kitty on food for three Northampton food banks.
