Police cordon off Wellingborough Embankment after sudden death
Officers are not treating body near River Nene as suspicious
Police cordoned off part of the Embankment in Wellingborough after a person died early on Saturday morning
An area of footpath close to the River Nene was taped off after a 999 call but police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "Officers were called to a report of a sudden death at The Embankment at about 9am on March 14. The death is not being treated as suspicious."
